The Capital Mass Transit Authority (CMTA) has announced a revision to the Feeder Bus Route FR-04A in Islamabad, introducing a new alignment aimed at improving connectivity for commuters. The revised route officially came into effect on Monday, August 3, 2026, and is being implemented on a trial basis.

Under the updated transport plan, Feeder Bus Route FR-04A will now operate between Barakahu (Dhok Jillani Terminal) and Bari Imam. The change replaces the previous route that connected Malpur with Bari Imam, marking a significant adjustment to the city’s public transport network.

The trial revision is expected to improve accessibility for residents of Barakahu and surrounding areas by providing a direct feeder service to Bari Imam. The updated route also aims to make commuting more convenient for passengers who rely on Islamabad’s integrated public transport system for their daily travel.

For regular passengers who previously used the Malpur–Bari Imam route, the revised alignment means planning their daily commute accordingly.
