Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Muhammad Ali Randhawa met Bahraini Ambassador Muhammad Ibrahim Muhammad Abdul Qadeer at the CDA Headquarters in Islamabad to discuss development initiatives and avenues for enhanced cooperation between Pakistan and Bahrain. The meeting underscored the shared desire of both countries to further strengthen bilateral relations while contributing to the growth and modernization of the federal capital.
Muhammad Ali Randhawa described Bahrain as a brotherly nation with long-standing ties to Pakistan, noting that both countries enjoy mutual respect and goodwill across diplomatic and cultural spheres. He praised the capital’s natural beauty and described it as one of the most aesthetically appealing and environmentally conscious capitals in the world. The Ambassador particularly acknowledged the CDA’s recent progress in improving urban infrastructure, beautification projects, and sustainability initiatives that have contributed to the city’s green image.
A key topic of discussion was the potential relocation of embassies and diplomatic missions to the Diplomatic Enclave. Chairman Randhawa assured that the CDA is ready to extend full support to facilitate new diplomatic establishments in the area. He emphasized that the authority has already initiated upgrades to the enclave, including horticulture, landscaping, and the expansion of recreational and sports amenities to enhance its appeal and functional capacity.
