Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Sidhu called on Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar on Friday.
The air chief congratulated the prime minister on assuming office and expressed his best wishes. He also briefed the prime minister on professional matters pertaining to the Pakistan Air Force.

In a tweet, the ambassador said he encouraged the prime minister to protect religious minorities and continue to partner with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on economic recovery. He also reaffirmed the United States’ steadfast commitment to the US-Pakistan relationship, support for free and fair elections, and desire to work with the US Pakistan Green Alliance to build for the future.
