PM Shehbaz Sharif Emphasizes Minority Welfare and Inclusion in National Framework

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the welfare, development, and protection of minority communities in Pakistan. Speaking to a delegation of National Assembly members representing minority groups, the prime minister emphasized that the government is actively pursuing all necessary measures to ensure the inclusion and rights of minorities.

The delegation, which met with the prime minister at the PM House on Thursday, included State Minister for Religious Affairs Khail Das Kohistani, Dr. Darshan, Nelson Azimish Isfahan Bhindara, Ms. Neelam, Sanjay Prowani, Ramesh Kumar, Naveed Amir, and Ramesh Lal. The meeting focused on key issues affecting minority communities, including their social, economic, and religious rights.

During the discussions, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assured minority representatives of full government cooperation in addressing their concerns. He highlighted that minorities are a vital part of Pakistan’s social and economic fabric and stressed that the Constitution guarantees them complete religious freedom, equal rights, and protection under the law.

The dialogue also covered ways to strengthen the participation of minority communities in national development. The prime minister emphasized that inclusive policies not only protect minority rights but also contribute to the country’s overall progress and harmony.

Minority parliamentarians expressed appreciation for the government’s ongoing initiatives to support their communities.
