Here is a look at the life of Mustafa Kamal

Mustafa Kamal is a Pakistani politician and former mayor of Karachi, the largest city of Pakistan. He was born on 27 December 1971 in Karachi to a family of migrants from India. He studied in the UK and Malaysia before joining politics.

He started his political career as a member of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), a party that represents the Urdu-speaking community in Karachi. He served as the provincial minister of information technology from 2003 to 2005, and then became the mayor of Karachi in 2005.

As the mayor, he initiated many development projects in the city, such as flyovers, underpasses, roads, parks, water supply, and sanitation. He also improved the security situation and reduced violence in Karachi. He was praised for his performance and received several awards, including the World Mayor Prize in 2010.

In 2012, he was elected as a senator in the upper house of parliament, but he resigned in 2013 due to differences with MQM leadership. He left Pakistan and lived in Dubai for three years. In 2016, he returned to Pakistan and announced his new political party, Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP), which aims to unite all ethnic groups in Karachi and Sindh.

He is currently the chairman of PSP and leads the opposition in Karachi Metropolitan Corporation. He is also a vocal critic of MQM and its founder Altaf Hussain, who lives in exile in London. He claims that MQM is involved in anti-state activities and violence in Karachi.

Mustafa Kamal is married and has three children. He lives in Karachi and enjoys playing cricket and golf.
